Tommy and Annie went for a walk with their Mother one bright, sunny day.

When they heard a young Girl in the park ask her Mother, “Mommy why do we pray?”

Her Mother replied,
“That’s a wonderful question, now let me see. Well, we often pray for those who are in need.

We pray for the sick, for their illness to be healed.

And we pray for the hungry, that their tummies may be filled.

We pray for the lost to find their way home.

And we pray for the lonely, no one likes to be alone.

We pray for so many good reasons, but if you ask for my favorite one, It is to be near God The Father, The Holy Spirit, and Jesus our savior, Gods precious Son.”

Then Tommy, and Annie said to their
mother, “We had such a great time walking with you Mother on this beautiful day. We went for a walk and learned, There are oh so many good reasons for us to pray.”
