Have you ever stopped and considered
what the enemy of our souls did when He found out that the
gates of hell would not prevail against the Church?
Knowing that he could not get in
from the outside ... He chose to divide it from within. He
caused division in the minds and hearts of the Children of
God. He caused them to fuss and debate over just about any
matter (mostly interpretation of Scripture) and now we have
hundreds of branches off of THE Church as compared to the
unity that was intended.

Think about it ... You have all
these different denominations that are so very against the
others, that many of the leaders within one denomination
even teach their congregation that the other Christians from
other denominations are going to hell.
As a child, I had a friend at school
who had to HIDE our friendship from his folks because his
parents were a specific denomination and my parents were
not. People that they and their children encountered had to
be THAT specific denomination or they were unworthy of their
friendship, love and charity and even the Grace that Jesus
gave us at the Cross. Does that sound like something Jesus
would say?
Yes, the enemy of our souls made a
good Chess move ...
PRIDE to DIVIDE.
So knowing this TRUTH, we must not
allow PRIDE to DIVIDE the body of Christ which is the
Christians ... But how do we accomplish this seemingly
difficult task?

... LOVE ONE ANOTHER. Our souls are to be filled with LOVE
and our NATURAL reaction is to be Charity which is described

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth
not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth
not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth
all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things,
endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but
whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether
there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be
knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Did you actually READ the words in
the Scripture? Are these your fruits when you think of other
Christians that you encounter? Or do you feel pride, anger
and even contempt when you read words shared by others? If
so ... Is that JESUS or the enemy of our soul which has
planted that seed of division?
And to those of you who share your
thoughts with others ... Are YOU sharing your thoughts with
charity or pride? Are you presenting your thoughts in a
manner that will uplift Jesus or you? Are you being REAL or
Memorex? Cuz if you are being pretense, others are picking
up on it and this causes them to question your motives and
the PRIDE to DIVIDE game is on.
Those of you who heard the words
that you shared and believed them to be pretense, could you
not have overlooked these words and understood that we are
all but humans on a tough path and that we all fall victim
at times? That we ALL have tricky days?
Have we become such a selfish
generation that we care only to have our own conscience
pleased and if it is not pleased with what we see or hear,
we kick out that wall of pride and murmur about it and even
whisper with others in an attempt to cause division which IS
the PRIDE to DIVIDE game? Is this what Jesus would have us
do?
God forbid !!!
So, the next time you find yourself
in the midst of fellow Christians and someone says something
that offends you, remember that you get to CHOOSE the path
of pride or Love and understanding. You get to CHOOSE
whether you allow the plot of the enemy to succeed.
The enemy of our soul can NOT
prevail against the body of Christ from without. He must
gain access from within.
LOVE is the force field which
prevents him from entering the HEART of the Church.
LOVE ONE ANOTHER
