I seek not to hurt feelings but rather
to share TRUTH ...
The Koran 9:11 E-mail which began
several years ago is a hoax.
For those of you who are not familiar with this E-mail ... There is an
E-mail going around which suggests that a verse in the Koran (Quran)
was prophecy of the 9/11 Tragedy. Someone started an E-mail forward
and it began to circulate in cyberspace. Some printed this e-mail and
there it went out into Real time. Here is what the E-mail suggested
that the Koran (Quran) says:
Koran ( 9:11 ) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a
fearsome Eagle.. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the
lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair
still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of
Allah;
Most thought ... Wow, how cool and began to tell their friends. People
LOVE prophecy and many began to try and interpret this prediction.
Many interpreted this to mean that the sons of Arabia are the Muslims,
so America must be the eagle
(Since the American symbol is the
eagle) that
they woke up and angered at 9/11 and
Americans are over there cleansing the land ...
One MAJOR prob tho ...
These words are not from anywhere in the Koran (Quran).
Chapter 9 verse 11 (009.011) actually says:

YUSUFALI: But (even
so), if they repent, establish regular prayers, and
practice regular charity,- they are your brethren in
Faith: (thus) do We explain the Signs in detail, for
those who understand.
PICKTHAL: But if they repent and establish worship and
pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in
religion. We detail Our revelations for a people who
have knowledge.
SHAKIR: But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay
the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We
make the communications clear for a people who know.

As you can see ... This has NOTHING to
do with the events of 9/11.
Another concern that comes to mind is ...
WHY send this E-mail out with an obvious lie within?
Some might
suggest the Muslims did it, but let us be real ... They would NEVER
say their Bible said that. To begin with, like our Bible, the Koran (Quran)
is sacred to them. Number two they would NEVER suggest their holy book
said America would prevail and cleanse their land.
Others might
suggest the Christians did it ... Tsk tsk
We are some rascals aint we? Blamed for everything.
EXCELLENT Scape goats huh?
Nehhhhhhh, the math does not add up. Why would Christians suggest that
the Koran was actually prophetic?
This E-mail suggested prophetic power of the Koran by
saying it predicted something that was to come to pass just as God
said HE does in the Bible.

My friends ... Here is a good rule of
thumb:
The only book one should trust for prophecy is ... The Bible.
AND ALWAYS ...
Now if you are one of the MANY that has
passed on this E-mail or the contents thereof ... Do NOT feel bad.
Even Christian web sites did the same. BUT ... You MUST break the
chain. Fear not going back and telling those you shared this E-mail
with ... The TRUTH.
It may seem like it might be a lil embarrassing but this comes with
the territory of being a Christian. If we find we are in the wrong, we
do NOT allow pride and fear of what others might think to come between
us and God. We just step up and admit it.
Is it not strange how we will admit and even share the mistakes of our
past but an existing mistake, we suddenly feel shame and feel we must
CON-ceal it ... Weird-o-rama.
Imagine how Peter and some of
the others felt, knowing everyone and their Momma had read or was
going to read of their mistakes in the Bible? You know, like their
lack of Faith at times.
However ... The TRUTH is that we Christians are now able to avoid the
pitfalls that they fell into because they shared of their mistakes or
at least understand that we all fall down during trials and
tribulation and that we need only REPENT and get back up. Once we do,
we get a fresh start again.
In fact that is one way that we should know the Bible is REAL. Cuz
NOBODY would document all of their mistakes as the Bible does the
believers from Genesis to Revelation ... Unless it was REAL.
It may feel like you will be a public spectacle if you do go and admit
the mistake that you believed a lie, but we all know of another that
God allowed to be used as a public spectacle as to save others from a
lie ... His name is Jesus. And He had done no wrong but knew others
had been deceived and CHOSE to suffer for their deception as to set
them free from the lie.
Those without understanding may have mocked Him as He hung there on
display as to protect others from the deception of the enemy ... But,
those that knew TRUTH ... Thanked and loved Him.
To those that can hear ... Humility is a stepping stone to Honor.
