FREE BIBLE TIMELINE CHART
We know that God created the earth and everything
within it in six days and rested on the seventh day. This seventh day became a
sacred day known as the
Sabbath.
In like manner ... The Bible reveals that God created a timeline cycle
of six thousand years and then a one
thousand year period of rest which is known as the
Millennium.

The Bible says in the book of
Genesis,
Chapter 1
that God worked 6 days and rested on the 7th
day.

Genesis 2:2
And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made;
and He
rested on the seventh day
from all His work which He had made. |
God also made this law apply to His
people. They were to work
6 days and rest on the 7th. This day is called Sabbath.

Exodus 20:9-10
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the
seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter,
thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy
stranger that is within thy gates
... |
And six years
thou shalt sow thy land,
and shall GATHER in the fruits thereof.

Exodus 23:10
And
six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in
the fruits thereof
... |
If His
people had a servant or slave,
they were to work 6 years and be set free the 7th year. God's people were also to sow in the land and
gather fruits for 6 years but not in
the 7th. Even Jesus, when He was put on the Cross, hung there 6 hours,
and died at the beginning of the 7th hour.

Mark 15:25, 34-37
And it was the
third hour,
and they crucified Him ....... And at the
ninth hour
Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama
sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God,
why hast thou forsaken me? And some of them that stood by,
when they heard it, said, Behold, He calleth Elias. And one
ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a
reed, and gave Him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see
whether Elias will come to take Him down. And Jesus cried
with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. |
They crucified Jesus at the 3rd hour
(9 AM) and He died at the 9th Hour (3:00 PM)
That is 6 hours and when the 7th hour
began ... It was over.
We
see a pattern created by God.
There are 6 time periods of work and 1 time period of rest.
Whether it be hours, days or years ...
You
will discover that also goes for thousand year periods of time.
DAY OF REST
The Bible says that after the End Times, there is a one
thousand year
period of time, known as the "Millennium" which
Satan is imprisoned and there is a
time of peace and REST for mankind.

Revelation 20:3-4
And cast him (satan) into the bottomless pit, and shut him
up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the
nations no more, till
the thousand years should be fulfilled:
and after that he must be loosed a little season.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and
judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of
them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God, and which had not
worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had
received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their
hands; and
they lived and
reigned with Christ a thousand years. |
THE FORMULA
1000 YEARS = ONE DAY TO GOD
The Bible reveals that Heaven and Earth are
reserved for fire and judgment, but
that
one day to God
is 1000 years to mankind .

2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not
ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord
as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. |
It also says
that a thousand years in God's sight are as but a day, as
a "watch" in the night.

Psalms 90:4
For a
thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday
when it is past, and as a watch in the night. |
Now,
let us do a little simple math ...
If God says that
...
Mankind shall work 6 days and rest on the 7th.
1000 years to man is but 1 day to God.
There is a one thousand year time period known as the
Millennium.
Then ...
THERE IS A 7000 YEAR PERIOD
A SIX THOUSAND YEAR PERIOD
THEN A ONE THOUSAND YEAR PERIOD OF REST
This brings forth
one interesting question ...
If there is six
thousand years then the End Times end and the Millennium begins ...
How many years
have passed from Creation to today?
We have created a timeline, taken from the Bible to confirm this find out how
much time has passed.

We have been
given specific dates throughout the Bible from Creation to Jesus, so we
can see how much time has
passed from Creation to Jesus. We will then see if we can figure out
how many years have elapsed from Jesus to present day. The following is a timeline based strictly on the Bible.
It took years to perform this extensive study, so
although the legwork has been done for you, the scripture
locations have been given, so that you can confirm the
findings.
Let us proceed ... The
Bible tells us at what age a son was born to the
individual before him and gives other dates and years of
specific events, throughout the Bible. We will add up all
these years and use Adam as the starting point, being the
first man in the Bible, and use the term AA (After Adam) to
show how many total years had passed from the
previous date to the next.
The Bible will indicate how
many years had passed, so you only need a calculator to
add up the amount of years that have passed from Adam to
Jesus.

5:32
... And Noah
was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
This
means Noah
began having his three sons at age 500. They were not triplets.
Ham was youngest so they were not all born at age
500.
Genesis 9:24
... And
Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done
unto him.
This is
further proven because Arphaxad was born when Shem was age 100 ...
(Which was 2 years after the Flood)
Genesis
11:10
... These are the
generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad
two years after the flood:

... And Terah lived seventy
years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
Terah lived 70 years
and begat his three sons.
Like Noah tho, they were not all born at same time,
this is just when he began having children.
They were not triplets.
So, we must search the scriptures a lil
as to discern Terah's age, when he had Abram (Not when he started having
his children)
We know that
Terah died when he was 205 ...
Genesis 11:32 ...
And the days of Terah were two hundred
and five years: and Terah died in Haran.
The very next verse
in the Bible reveals that once Abram's Dad died ... God called Abram to
leave Haran.
Genesis 12:1
... Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and
from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will
shew thee:
This is confirmed
again ...
Acts 7:4 ...
Then came he (Abram)
out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran (Haran): and
from thence, when his father (Terah) was dead, He (God) removed
him (Abram) into this land, wherein ye now dwell.
Abram was 75 years old when he left
Haran just after Terah died.
Genesis 12:4 ...
So Abram departed, as the LORD
had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and
five years old when he departed out of Haran.
Doing the math ...
Terah was 205 when he
died.
Abram was 75 when he left Haran after Dad died.
205 - 75 = 130 ...
Terah
was 130 years old when Abram was born
Sooooooo, the timeline would be ... 2121 BC - 130 = 1991
BC =
Abram's birth.

12:4
... So Abram departed, as the
LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was
seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
Exodus 12:40-41 ... Now the sojourning
of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred
and thirty years.
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty
years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts
of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
Acts 7:6
... And God spake on this wise,
That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they
should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four
hundred years.
Galatians 3:16-17
...
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith
not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed,
which is Christ. And this I say, that the covenant, that was
confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four
hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should
make the promise of none effect.
The time between
the promise made to Abraham when he left Haran headed for the
Promised land and the Law (Old Covenant) given to Moses in the
wilderness after the Exodus was 430 years.

TIME OF JUDGES
Acts 13:16-22 ... Then Paul
stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and
ye that fear God, give audience. The God of this people of
Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt
as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought
he them out of it. And about the time of
forty years
suffered he their manners in the wilderness. And when He had
destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their
land to them by lot. And
AFTER that He gave unto them judges about the space of four
hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.
And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul
the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of
forty years. And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them
David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony,
and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine
own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
Paul shares that after the exodus that there were
judges for ABOUT 450 years.

Elijah was a
prophet IN AND AROUND 875 BC
So, we see that there has been 4000 years from Adam until Jesus was BORN
and 4033 years from Adam to Jesus' RESURRECTION
Now, comes the tricky part ... We must determine
how many years have passed
from Jesus' resurrection until present day as to continue the Bible
Calendar.
This period of time is known as the "Time of the Gentiles"

Luke 21:24
And they shall
fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away
captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be
trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of
the Gentiles be fulfilled. |

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of
this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own
conceits; that blindness in part is happened to
Israel,
until the fullness of the Gentiles
be come in. |
TIME OF THE
GENTILES SIGN
There is a time
period mentioned
in the Bible
known as the
"Time of the
Gentiles" ...

And

It is the period
of time which
begins after
Jesus'
Resurrection but
before the
promised 1000
years of peace
on Earth known
as the
Millennium. Just
before the
Millennium,
there will be a
7 year time
period known as
the End Times.
So, from the
Time of Jesus'
Resurrection to
these End Times
is the period of
time known as
the Time of the
Gentiles
which is a time
where Gentiles
(Individuals
from any nation
other than
Israel) have
been given the
opportunity to
accept Jesus as
their Savior.
How do we know
that the TIME OF
THE GENTILES
didn’t begin
until the death
of Jesus?

Matthew
10:5-7
These
twelve
Jesus
sent
forth,
and
commanded
them,
saying,
Go
not
into
the
way
of
the
Gentiles,
and
into
any
city
of
the
Samaritans
enter
ye
not:
But
go
rather
to
the
lost
sheep
of
the
house
of
Israel.
And
as
ye
go,
preach,
saying,
The
kingdom
of
heaven
is
at
hand. |
As you can see,
the LORD has
allotted a
specified period
of time for the
Gentiles to
accept Jesus as
their Savior
which began at
His Resurrection
and the start of
the
NEW COVENANT
and continues
until the End
Times.

Galatians
4:4-5
But
when
the
fulness
of
the
time
was
come,
God
sent
forth
his
Son,
made
of a
woman,
made
under
the
law,
To
redeem
them
that
were
under
the
law,
that
we
might
receive
the
adoption
of
sons. |
This fulness of
time refers to
the Time of the
Jewish people
who were under
law given by
Moses.

John
1:17
For
the
law
was
given
by
Moses,
but
GRACE
and
TRUTH
came
by
Jesus
Christ. |
Of course, if
you read
ROMANS, Chapter
11
... You’ll find
that one of
God’s chosen
people of Israel
CAN be saved
during the TIME
OF THE GENTILES
as well.
The New
Covenant (which would include the gentiles) could not
begin until the Testator of it … Died:

Hebrews 9:15-17
And for this cause He (Jesus) is the mediator of the New
testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the
transgressions that were under the first testament, they
which are called might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of
necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is
of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength
at all while the testator liveth.

So, the
New Testament and the Time of the Gentiles began after
the Death and Resurrection of Jesus.
Since the
Time of the Gentiles ...
Began after the Resurrection of Jesus.
If we look up at
our calendar, we see that Abraham who was called by God to become the
father of God's chosen people, was born around 2000 AA. If God's chosen
people began with Abraham and the promise continued from about 2000 AA
until 4000 AA which is 2000 years then that would suggest that 2000
years would be given as the Time of the Gentiles as well.
America has a calendar based on 365 days. They
call it A.D. (in the year of our Lord) which contrary to popular belief
... A.D. does not stand for "After Death" but instead stands for "anno
Domini" which means "Year Dominion" ...
According to the American calendar, Jesus was born at year "0"
and was crucified and resurrected in 33 AD
Since it has been
4033 years from Adam to Jesus' Resurrection, we need only determine how
much time has passed from 33 AD to present day as to find out how many
years it has been from Adam to present day.
Let us take the
year 2007
From 33 AD to the
year 2007 AD is 1974 years.
So let's add the
4033 years to the 1974 years and we get ...
6007 years
WOW ... Talk about
exciting !!!
Hmmmmmm, that is a
few years too many though.
PROBLEMS
The Jewish Calendar
which is what God based His prophecies on, is different than other
Calendars. It has been changed many times as well as you can see at this
online encyclopedia.
There is another minor problem ... The calendar has been changed
MANY times, over the last two thousand years, by different entities and
nations that came into power, which makes it difficult to determine
exactly how many days have passed to find out the exact day, which was
probably God's plan since He said we would not know what day it would
be.

There have been so many changes that it would be impossible to track
down the exact date.
It is VERY strange though that it is approximately 6000 years from Adam
to present day.
Could it be that the changes in the calendars ARE the reason that we
came up with 6007 years?
As we recall ...
