Welcome back
to Daily Bread!
Anxious to find out what Paul wrote in the conclusion of his letter to the
Galatians? Sometimes Paul likes to list things that he wants people to
remember at the closing of his letters. His sharing of wisdom sort of takes
on the characteristics of Proverbs, so remember that one subject can change
to another from sentence to sentence.
Brethren, if a
person is caught in wrong doing, you who are spiritual, restore that person
in the spirit of meekness, watching out for yourself, being careful that
you’re not tempted also.
Bear one another’s
burdens (support each other) and by doing this, fulfill the law of Christ
(Love thy neighbor as thyself,
Matthew 22:39).
Because if a man thinks he is more important than another when he is really
nothing, he deceives himself.
But let every man
judge his own work, and then shall he have gladness in himself alone, and
not in another. For every man will be rewarded for his own deeds.
SUFFERING FOR CHRIST VERSES LESSON WITH SUFFERING FOR CHRIST
VERSES EXPLANATION
Let him
that is learning the Word, communicate with his teacher in all good things.
Don’t be deceived,
God is not mocked (Deceived). Whatever a man sows (plants within himself),
is what he shall reap. For he that sows to his flesh shall from the flesh
reap corruption (death), but he that sows to the Spirit, shall from the
Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not grow tired of well doing,
because in the season of harvest we shall reap, if we do not weaken.
Whenever there is
opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the
family of Faith.
You see how long
of a letter I have written to you with my own hand.
As many as desire
to make you comply with worldly demands, they constrain you to be circumcised; or
else they would suffer persecution (by the Jews) for (preaching) the Cross of Christ. For neither
they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you
circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
SUFFERING FOR CHRIST VERSES INFORMATION WITH SUFFERING FOR
CHRIST VERSES MEANING
But God forbid
that I should glory (be proud), except in the Cross (sacrifice) of our Lord
Jesus Christ, by whom the world is dead to me, and I to the world. For in
Christ Jesus, neither circumcision (being Jewish) is of any use, nor
uncircumcision (being Gentile), but in Christ Jesus, a new person avails.
(Reborn) And whoever lives according to this rule, peace be to them, and
mercy, and upon the people of God.
From now on, let no man
trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. (If you are
one in Christ, you died with Him, therefore bearing His marks or scars. You
could say you’re Suffering For Christ Verses. Life everlasting that is!) Brethren, the
Grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
Friends, during
those times of temptation in our own lives, it’s a great idea to pick up the
Bible and read Paul. He has a good way, nearly 2000 years after he wrote
these letters, of getting a good grip on your ears and pulling your head out
of the sand. If you were a Galatian, after reading that letter, you’d
definitely be thumping the side of your head with the heel of your hand,
saying, duhhh, or whatever they said in Galatia in those days that meant,
How could I have been so foolish?!
Congratulations on
completing this study of Paul’s epistle to the Galatians. Our next study is
just as valuable in your journey through the New Testament so don’t miss the
next Daily Bread when we begin Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. Until then,
God Bless.
